We've let the website lie a bit fallow, we're afraid. November saw The Sedans back in The Fidelitorium to record Santa Claus, Baby with our date, Sheila Grady-Carlisle. We've earmarked all of the proceeds from that digital release (on all of the usual outlets) to be donated to Triad Musicians Matter, a local charity designed to aid local musicians with genuine and profound need. We also tracked a couple of numbers to be included on a proposed late-spring/early-summer project. Again, we were fortunate in having Mark Williams at the helm, in the studio. December saw us with Samantha Fish, and her power trio at Ziggy's. We followed her to Charlotte for our first foray to the Queen City, and a swell gig at The Neighborhood Theatre. We look forward to getting back into that room...a good one. January saw us back in Charlotte, at the storied Double Door Inn, with John Nemeth, a fine harp player and fabulous vocalist (and helluva nice guy), and his terrific band. Tonight, February 5th, we'll be doing our swansong at the soon-to-be-closed Ziggy's, with Tab Benoit. Ziggy's has been an anchor room for us, and we'll miss it. We're also looking forward to the end of the month, and an opportunity to play a benefit put together by Sheila Klinefelter, at The Blind Tiger, in Greensboro, for Phyllis Kubek, the late Smokin' Joe Kubek's wife, who, having lost her husband in October, is now struggling with cancer. The Sedans hope you'll join us, in 2016!
